Scripture:
"Come, follow me," Jesus said, "and I will send you out to fish for people." — Matthew 4:19

Reflection:
When Jesus called the fishermen, He saw beyond their current lives to their potential as disciples. He saw their willingness to cast their nets into the unknown, to brave the storms, and to keep going despite disappointments. Following Him, they left behind the comfort of what they knew and stepped into a life of faith. Just like casting a net requires courage, following Jesus requires trust in His plans for us.

This journey of faith often mirrors our time outdoors. There are calm days and stormy nights; there are high points and times when we wonder if we’re on the right path. But just as nature cycles and restores itself, so does our faith. God uses each step, each struggle, and each joy to draw us closer to Him. When we’re out in His creation, we can feel this invitation more clearly, as if He’s saying, "Follow Me and see the wonders I have in store."

Our faith journey, like an outdoor adventure, is about the experiences along the way—the people we meet, the lessons we learn, the moments of awe we encounter. Each day offers a chance to say “yes” to His call. May we follow with courage, knowing that He has already prepared the way for us.

Takeaway:
Ask God for the strength to follow wherever He leads, trusting that each step is bringing you closer to His purpose for your life.
